Key Responsibilities:
Investigate, research and analyze complex professional liability claims
Counsel insurers regarding their rights and responsibilities with respect to their insureds
Deliver high-quality work product within defined service level agreements with clients
Remain current on legislative trends and court decisions and provide timely updates, detailed insights, and recommendations
Work with claims management to provide expert legal advice on risk exposure, policy interpretation, litigation strategy, and claims-handling protocols
Qualifications:
JD from an accredited law school
CA state licensed attorney in good standing
3-7 years of law firm experience
Excellent analytical and research skills
Strong and persuasive oral and written communication skills
Ability to anticipate challenges and recommend solutions
Experience in conflict resolution and complex problem scenarios
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong preference for experience interpreting insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and litigating coverage matters

- Expected annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $180,000
- Salary offered will be determined by factors such as experience level, education/training, and relevant skills
