Job Title: Manager Client Accounts
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure exceptional delivery of billing support to senior management, lawyers, and clients.
- Provide thought leadership in developing and implementing best practices in billing processes, aligning with the firm's strategic goals.
- Connect with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop best practices for billing management.
- Lead a team of billing specialists, ensuring alignment with the firm's billing practices, policies, and procedures.
- Provide daily supervision, support, and guidance to direct reports.
- Ensure work assignments are completed timely and meet internal and external client expectations.
- Meet regularly with direct reports, provide coaching and training, recognize professional development areas, and conduct performance reviews.
- Provide training to ensure consistent application of billing processes and policies across the department.
- Onboard new team members and provide necessary training and guidance on billing processes and procedures.
- Interact with clients, attorneys, and business professionals, acting as a point of escalation for billing issues.
- Research and resolve billing issues, including account analysis, and assist with processing and collecting invoices.
- Escalate unresolved billing issues to senior management for timely resolution as needed.
- Track team metrics to ensure service level requirements are met, analyze service level issues, and implement solutions.
- Create and maintain complex monthly reporting, ensuring data accuracy before submission.
- Participate and support project management initiatives, including project planning, development, and execution.
- Meet regularly with assigned team members, prepare agendas, and capture important discussion items.
- Track and resolve tickets assigned by the Accounting Service Desk.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field is highly preferred.
- Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years of experience in a billing function in a law or professional services firm.
- At least two years of experience in management or supervisory position required.
- Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems such as Elite and/or Aderant (Aderant experience strongly preferred).
- Advanced experience with e-Billing applications required.
Salary Information:
- The firm's expected hiring range for this position is $121,732 - $154,380 per year, depending on the candidate’s geographic market location.
- Compensation will also depend on factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.

Work Environment:
- Opportunity for a hybrid work arrangement comprising remote and in-office work, determined in coordination with the hiring manager or supervisor.
- Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time, with occasional walking and standing.
