Job Title: Business Development Coordinator - Labor and Employment
Job Responsibilities:
The Business Development Coordinator at the law firm is tasked with supporting the implementation of business development goals and activities for the Labor and Employment practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and coordinating pitches, RFP responses, and presentations under senior team members' guidance.
- Drafting and editing correspondence, PowerPoint presentations, visual resources, and other documents, ensuring they meet the firm's standards.
- Coordinating logistics and participating in virtual and in-person meetings and calls.
- Supporting cross-collaboration initiatives and maintaining business plan documents.
- Tracking business development activities and action items.
- Conducting research using internal and external platforms and creating reports to support business development activities.
- Assisting in data collection, data entry, and basic analysis.
- Supporting business development events by developing content, identifying practice generation targets, and conducting event follow-up.
- Assisting with budget development, maintenance, expense approval requests, and tracking.
- Managing multiple business development projects and tasks simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to complete assignments and deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Coordinating responses to ad hoc assignments.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess a and have a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services/consulting organization. The position requires:
- The ability to work independently and manage projects in a collaborative team setting.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, writing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work collaboratively with individuals at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications, along with adaptability to new technology and programs.
Salary Information:
For positions in Century City and Los Angeles, CA, the salary range is $64, - $103,. For positions in San Francisco, CA, the salary range is $67, - $107,. The base salary or hourly wage range will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wage may be outside this range based on individual circumstances. Additionally, salary or hourly wages may be only part of the total compensation package, which may include a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
