Job Responsibilities:

- The attorney will be responsible for understanding and practicing family law within various counties, including Cook, DuPage, Lake, and McHenry.
- Advising clients on ongoing litigation and explaining any legal issues or concerns they might face.
- Conducting research on facts and evidence involved in each case, including financial records, evaluations, third-party expert reports, and previously filed pleadings, as well as applicable laws.
- Interpreting case law and decisions from relevant courts, which may involve analyzing multiple factors presented in other cases.
- Developing case strategies aimed at quick and cost-effective resolutions for clients, rather than engaging in time-consuming and expensive litigation.
- Preparing pleadings and other documents such as exhibits, balance sheets, support calculations, and prenuptial agreements.
- Representing clients in court by presenting testimony, evidence, and arguments to assert the client's rights and best interests.
- Delegating tasks to the support team and mentoring less experienced attorneys.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and working independently as needed.

Education and Experience Information:

- Juris Doctorate (JD) is required.
- Must have a bar license in good standing.

Salary Information:

- The annual average compensation ranges from $100,000 to $175,000, depending on experience.
- Additional bonuses are based on performance and metrics.
