Paralegal Litigation Legal Assistant The candidate will be managing the day-to-day critical tasks on cases, supporting clients, preparing for mediations and/or trials, and working alongside the Attorney to seek the best results for our deserving clients. Regular client communication; organization and analysis of medical records, accident reports, and other relevant documents; utilization of the case management program; and collaboration with internal departments. Manages and negotiates liens, including liens associated with ERISA, Medicare, Medicaid, and workers compensation. Maintain an attorney's calendar including scheduling depositions, hearings, and trials. Should have 2+ years of experience in personal injury law as a Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal. Superior customer service skills, professionalism, and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position. Knowledge of legal terminology and principles as well as good computer skills are required. Experience with a case management program is a requirement. Must have experience drafting answers to discovery including Interrogatories, Requests for Production of Documents, and Requests for Admission of Fact. Should have excellent interpersonal skills for frequent communication with clients, court staff, and other attorneys
