Job Title: Nonprofit Registration and Compliance Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

The Nonprofit Registration and Compliance Specialist will assist the legal team in managing nonprofit clients' annual regulatory compliance registrations and renewal filings. This role is crucial in facilitating the operational and fundraising activities of nonprofit organizations. Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing, filing, and maintaining fundraising registrations and renewals, as well as domestic and foreign corporation qualifications and periodic reports.
- Managing other recurring federal, state, and local administration and regulatory reporting filings for nonprofit clients.
- Conducting frequent research tasks related to changes in laws and procedures when interfacing with multiple governmental agencies.
- Corresponding with the firm's clients and government regulators.
- Thriving in a rapidly-evolving environment and recognizing problems while proposing solutions.
- Multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
- Working independently with oversight and direction from a supervisor.
- Utilizing various technology platforms including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Education and Experience Information:

The ideal candidate for the Nonprofit Registration and Compliance Specialist position should have:

- At least one year of professional work experience in fundraiser, nonprofit, or for-profit state registration experience.
- General familiarity with state and federal reporting requirements for nonprofit charitable organizations.
- General familiarity with state and federal reporting requirements for professional fundraisers.
- A high level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Salary Information:

Compensation for the Nonprofit Registration and Compliance Specialist position is offered commensurate with experience and includes opportunities for bonuses. The position is full-time with expected hours of 40 per week.
