You will be responsible for handling cases from inception to trial and appeal, appearing regularly in court for conferences and oral arguments, and conducting depositions and motion practice. Additionally, having a background in insurance defense and knowledge of New York State No-Fault law is a plus.
To be considered for this position, you must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, be licensed to practice law in New York (New Jersey is a bonus), and have 1-3 years of experience in litigation. You must also be detail and deadline oriented, able to work independently and engage in client contact, and have strong oral and written advocacy skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook is also required.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $115,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including dental, medical, and 401k.
