Job Title: Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary (3+ Years)
Job Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary will be working at a small AV-rated law firm that specializes in civil, business, and real estate litigation and transactions. The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting attorneys with the drafting and finalization of discovery, law and motion, and trial documents for both state and federal courts.
- Handling electronic filing of legal documents.
- Managing client billing using the Brief Encounter software package.
- Working proficiently within an Apple Mac environment and utilizing Microsoft Word.
- Performing tasks with minimal supervision and demonstrating a high degree of motivation and self-starting capability.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an Administrative Assistant or Legal Secretary. Strong academic credentials are essential for this role, as well as proficiency in the tasks and software mentioned.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this full-time position is $49,900 to $57,500 per year.

Schedule and Location Requirements:
The position requires an 8-hour day shift from Monday to Friday. The candidate must be able to commute to or relocate to San Diego, CA 92101 before starting work. The work location is in person at the law firm.
