Responsibilities:

- Management and oversight of corporate paralegals, case assistants, and legal support employees.
- Coordinate work assignments and monitor overall utilization of paralegals and assistants.
- Develop and administer training and development programs for paralegals and legal support.
- Maintain program documents, training materials, and resources.
- Analyze and summarize management reports.
- Cultivate positive relationships with department chairs and the paralegal coordinator.
- Supervise direct reports and make decisions regarding hiring, termination, advancement, promotion, etc.
- Additional duties as directed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience supervising professional services staff in a law firm.
- Corporate paralegal experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of the firm.
- Professional demeanor and proficiency with PC software.
- Willingness to travel to other office locations as needed.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position will vary based on experience and location. However, the average salary for a Paralegal Manager at McGuireWoods is $85,000 per year.
