Job Title: HRIS Analyst

Job Responsibilities:
The HRIS Analyst is an integral part of the HRIS team, responsible for the support and enhancement of the UKG Pro HRIS system. The role focuses on promoting automation, ensuring data integrity, improving system efficiencies, and generating reports. The HRIS Analyst serves as a liaison with key HR stakeholders to design, implement, and troubleshoot system and data issues. Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the UKG Pro HRIS system by accurately configuring and processing data, maintaining system tables, workflows, platform configuration, and security.
- Collaborating with users and HR functional areas to troubleshoot and resolve system and data integration issues.
- Developing and proposing solutions, including system configurations, to meet business process needs and requirements.
- Assisting in user acceptance testing (UAT) related to HR system upgrades, enhancements, and configuration changes, including building and tracking test scripts.
- Conducting regular data audits to ensure data integrity, compliance, and adherence to HR policies and processes to avoid impacts on internal and external systems.
- Monitoring and provisioning employee security access to the HRIS system.
- Developing and managing file imports for employee data maintenance and year-end processes.
- Designing and maintaining various ad-hoc and standard reports, including regulatory reporting and government surveys, utilizing appropriate reporting tools, such as Cognos BI.
- Developing and maintaining user guides and system documentation, delivering training, and assisting users on system utilization and upgrades.
- Staying informed about current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, as well as applying key technologies.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:

- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience working with HCM/HRIS platforms, such as UKG Pro (preferred), Workday, or Success Factors, in an HR environment is required.

Qualifications:

- Experience in system configuration, business process/workflow setup, testing, security setup, system maintenance, upgrades, and fixes in HCM systems, specifically in Recruiting, Onboarding, Core HR, Benefits, Time Management, and Reporting.
- Experience in developing and maintaining reports, preferably in Cognos BI (People Analytics) or equivalent reporting tools. SQL query language is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and timeliness.
- Strong understanding of HR, Benefits, and Payroll functional processes, including interdependencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to all levels of employees.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.

Physical Demands:

- The ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
- The ability to routinely lift and carry file folders weighing up to 5 pounds.
- The ability to sit for 1 hour without a break.

Working Condition and Environment:

- Work is normally performed in a typical office environment, with standard business hours of hours per day, Monday through Friday.
- The role may involve moderate exposure to dust, dirt, and/or extreme temperatures on occasion.
- Availability for overtime, including weekend hours, is required when necessary to meet established deadlines or manage occasional peaks in workload. Flexibility to change the regular work schedule to meet the needs of the law firm is essential.
- This role may be hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week (or at least 60%) presence in the office, with up to two days per week (40%) performed remotely.

Salary Information:
For positions based in the Washington . office of the law firm, the salary range is - per hour.
