Trademark Paralegal - Intellectual Property Practice Group - Law Firm - Washington, DC

Summary:

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Trademark Paralegal to join their Trademark Portfolio Services department in Washington, DC. The position offers a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule and requires flexibility with overtime. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys with trademark and service mark registration and prosecution.
- Prepare trademark and copyright maintenance filings.
- Draft correspondence and filings for the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
- Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches and prepare search guides.
- Prepare copyright registration applications.
- Assist with trademark and copyright due diligence.
- Keep attorneys updated on deadlines and coordinate with clients.
- Perform other assigned tasks and responsibilities.

Experience and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-3 years of trademark prosecution/maintenance experience.
- Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced legal research and investigation skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload.
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Salary Information:

- Salary range: $62, - $99,.
- Final salary will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on experience and other factors.
- Total compensation package may include medical, financial, and other benefits.
