Job Title: Senior Immigration Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Research law, investigate facts, and prepare documents and applications to assist assigned attorneys.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients for each assigned matter, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction.
- Keep cases organized by establishing and organizing files, monitoring calendars, meeting deadlines, documenting actions and client communication, inputting information into file databases, and confirming case status with attorneys.
- Maintain client contact and communicate case progress regularly.
- Assist assigned attorneys with trial preparation.
- Promptly answer phones and emails to facilitate efficient communication.
- Maintain client confidence by adhering to strict confidentiality regarding client/attorney information.
- Attend all assigned client meetings both in person and telephonically.
- Track the status of client filings to ensure timely processing.
- Prepare and compose motions and routine correspondence; act as a liaison to court personnel.
- Prepare and draft filings to relevant federal and state agencies.
- Complete indexes, pleadings, exhibits, checklists, motions, and legal research for litigation proceedings.
Education and Experience Information:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree with two years of legal experience or Associate Degree with three years of legal experience.
- Certification: Paralegal Certificate (preferred).
- Experience: Two years of immigration experience and two years of customer service experience.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English/Spanish/Portuguese (preferred).

- Complex problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
- Strong ability to multi-task effectively and maintain strong organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strict adherence to legal confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and clients.

- Motivated self-starter capable of working independently and communicating effectively with clients and the legal team.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated history of excellence in previous career roles, with a passion for serving clients.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to cross-train for other job functions.
Salary Information:
