Job Title: Chief Information Officer
Job Responsibilities:
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the organization's technology initiatives. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of IT strategies that align with business goals, ensuring that technology investments deliver maximum value. The CIO will lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while managing the organization's information technology operations. Additionally, the CIO will be tasked with enhancing data security measures and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the company’s IT vision, roadmap, and strategic initiatives
- Lead all aspects of IT operations, including enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and user support
- Provide strategic and operational leadership in technology due diligence, integration planning, and execution for mergers and acquisitions
- Partner with Finance, Legal, and Operations to assess IT risks, compatibility, and scalability during M&A evaluations
- Oversee post-acquisition IT integration including systems alignment, data migration, infrastructure consolidation, and process standardization
- Build and lead high-performing IT teams that align with organizational values and business objectives
- Develop and manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data security standards, and internal policies
- Act as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on innovation, infrastructure, and strategic technology investments
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ in a senior or executive role
- Proven track record of leading enterprise IT strategies and teams
- Proven experience with technology due diligence and post-merger integration activities
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, systems integration, enterprise software, and digital transformation best practices
- Experience with cloud platforms (., AWS, Azure), SaaS tools, and data infrastructure
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance innovation with operational excellence
