Job Title: E-Billing Specialist (Remote)
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with billing assistants, attorneys, LPAs, and clients for e-billing setup, rate management, and accrual submissions.
- Enforce client e-billing guidelines by setting up rules and constraints within the financial software used by the law firm.
- Utilize software solutions to address and correct rates and other e-billing issues before invoices reach the prebill stage.
- Create and submit e-billed invoices via BillBlast or manually with Ledes files directly onto vendor e-billing sites.
- Work with billing assistants to ensure successful resolution of all e-billing submissions.
- Track, report, and provide deduction reports to attorneys on all appeal items for assigned attorneys or billing assistants and work through appeal submissions.
- Follow up promptly on rejected or pending e-bills to ensure timely resolution.
- Create and revise basic spreadsheet reports.
- Track all e-billing efforts in ARCS, exporting email communication and critical information on the history of e-billing submissions through resolutions.
- Coordinate with the Rate Management Specialist to update rates for e-billed clients.
- Assist with e-billing email group and profile emails in e-billing software as needed.
- Assist with other special e-billing requests.
- Conduct daily review of Intapp forms to ensure proper setup in Aderant, including invoicing requirements, rates, special billing requirements, and approval processes.
Education and Experience Information:
- College degree or commensurate experience with a high school diploma.
- 3+ years specializing in legal e-billing.
- Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain effective relationships with attorneys and business professionals via telephone, email, or in person.
- Must have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Knowledge of Aderant Software is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
