Job Responsibilities:
As an attorney at the law firm specializing in personal injury matters, you will be entrusted with managing a diverse caseload. A key responsibility will be to lead a dedicated team of paralegals and case managers to ensure timely processing and strict adherence to all legal deadlines. You will represent clients during negotiations, aiming to secure the best possible outcomes for their personal injury claims.

Chief responsibilities include:
- Medical case review.
- Negotiating and settling cases in both pre-litigation and litigation stages.
- Reviewing policies, claims, and other records.
- Preparing, writing, and arguing legal documents, including memos, theory of liability, and demands.
- Communicating with insurance companies to ensure client medical treatment is managed and billed appropriately.
- Providing clients with case status updates.
- Conducting intake meetings with new clients.
- Managing a docket of cases according to office policy.
- Conducting and attending Independent Medical Examinations (IME’s), Examinations Under Oath (EUO’s), and recorded statements.
- Exercising a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law. Essential skills include strong negotiation, communication, and writing abilities. Candidates should possess intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills. The ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence is crucial, as is the ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations. Analytical skills and attention to detail are important, and candidates should have the ability to work independently.

Licensure:
Candidates must be currently licensed in the state of Ohio and in good standing.

Salary Information:
The base pay for this position ranges from $80, to $115, per year, depending on experience. Additional compensation includes a base salary plus a quarterly bonus.
