In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of clients and play a vital role in securing the best possible outcomes for their personal injury claims.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload and lead a team of paralegals and case managers to ensure timely processing and strict adherence to legal deadlines
- Represent clients during negotiations to secure the best possible outcomes for their personal injury claims
- Conduct medical case reviews and review policies, claims, and other records
- Prepare and argue legal documents, including memos, theory of liability, and demands
- Communicate with insurance companies and ensure proper management and billing for client medical treatment
- Provide case status updates to clients and conduct intake meetings with new clients
- Manage case docket according to office policy
- Attend and conduct IME's, EUO's, and recorded statements
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in personal injury law
- Strong negotiation, communication, and writing skills
- Intermediate to advanced-level computer and general office skills
- Ability to effectively communicate through both verbal and written electronic correspondence
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Licensure:
- Must be currently licensed in the state of Ohio and in good standing
