Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in a variety of client projects to gain a comprehensive understanding of the role of a full-time associate at the law firm.
- Engage in drafting memos, agreements, and briefs that will be reviewed by clients and judges.
- Attend client meetings, closings, court conferences, depositions, and trials to observe and learn about the legal processes.
- Handle a pro bono project, reflecting the firm's commitment to pro bono work.
- Participate in legal skills workshops designed to enhance legal writing, drafting, contract negotiation, and marketing writing skills.
- Receive direct feedback on assignments from assigning attorneys, with evaluations provided mid-summer and at the end of the program, mirroring the associate evaluation process.
- Engage in the Writing Advisor Program, where a partner will provide ongoing feedback on written work to improve writing skills.
