H1: Risk Management – Client Matter Lifecycle Clerk (1-3 years)
H2: Responsibilities:
- Serve as point of contact for billing setup for Partners and legal assistants.
- Input and maintain client billing information in accounting database.
- Review and verify accuracy of billing setup.
- Ensure initial matter billing setup aligns with client's guidelines.
- Communicate with attorneys and staff to support billing information flow.
- Drive standardization and innovation for future growth.
- Assist with special projects and activities as needed.
- Ensure firm policies and practices are followed.
H2: Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in general accounting practices.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with legal and/or electronic billing processes.
- Experience with Aderant or Elite billing systems preferred.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Analytical and motivated.
- Familiarity with legal documents and contracts.
- Ability to multitask and work in a deadline-driven environment.
H2: Salary Information:
- Salary range: $35,000 - $50,000 (Depends on experience).
