Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist in the handling of a personal injury trial practice. The candidate must possess the following skills and experience to be considered for the position: Ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule; Excellent organizational skills while working in a check-list system; In depth knowledge of the laws and rules associated with a Colorado personal injury trial practice; Four or more years' working as a litigation paralegal with trial experience; Desire to spend a substantial portion of each work day talking with clients, processing client files, drafting pleadings, motions, and demand letters, preparing for trial and calendaring hearings and meetings; In depth knowledge of the information needed to develop a personal injury claim including liability, damages and causation; Proficient with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook. Additionally, experience with Needles, Trialpad and Casemap software is a plus; Good writing and communication skills; Able to take direction from attorneys and managers while possessing the skills to be self-guided; Highly motivated to develop client relations and expand the reputation of the practice; Litigation skills are required.
