Job Title: Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with law firm partners on client management.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions and applications with . government agencies such as USCIS, DOS, DOL, and CBP.
- Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the .
- Prepare and file petitions and applications for non-immigrant (L, H, TN, O, E) and immigrant status (PERM, I-130, EB1A, B & C, I-140, I-485) for foreign nationals.
- Work collaboratively with legal administrative assistants and paralegals in day-to-day work on cases.
- Stay current on business immigration law developments and contribute to the law firm's thought leadership and marketing efforts.
- Advise clients on I-9 and E-Verify compliance and corporate immigration policies and strategies.
- Lead trainings internally and at client sites.
Education and Experience Information:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law school.
- Bar Admission and Member in good standing.
- Professional legal experience in a high-volume business immigration practice.
- Exceptional communication, writing, and detail-oriented skills.
- Demonstrated experience working with high-volume business immigration clients.
- A demonstrated track record of providing excellent client service while working within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify and analyze issues and problems and recommend and implement solutions.
- Ability to organize work, establish priorities and maintain good interpersonal relations and communications with other lawyers and staff.
- Cooperative and works well within a team.
Salary Information:
- The law firm is committed to providing Associate Attorneys with equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including prior experience, skills and expertise, and internal equity.
- Salary range: $80,000 to $120,000+
