Job Title: Corporate Counsel, Prime Video Business Development, Advertising, Channels, and Sports
Job Responsibilities:
- Structuring, drafting, and negotiating distribution, licensing, production, marketing, and other commercial agreements.
- Evolving a first of its kind and best in class advertising experience for Prime Video customers and advertisers.
- Helping launch new sports properties and reinvent the ways that customers consume sports content.
- Providing ongoing legal counsel across a range of fields, including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance.
- Some travel may be required.
- Serve as lead counsel in drafting, negotiating, and closing commercial agreements with device manufacturers, AI and other technical vendors, other premium streaming services, sports rightsholders, vendors, and other important business partners.
- Work together with other members of the Prime Video Legal team to deliver results across a range of challenging and ambitious projects.
- Research, advise, and develop expertise on Prime Video's business development initiatives, advertising experience, and new product initiatives and regulatory matters.
Education and Experience Information:
- 5+ years of legal experience.
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent.
- Preferred: Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.
Salary Information:
- The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in the lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in the highest geographic market.
- Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
