The Senior Legal Counsel - BCDC will provide legal guidance and support for the design, development, and launch of BCDC products, features, and services. This will involve advising on the legal implications of commercial transactions, new products, and customer terms and conditions, as well as developing policies, training, and toolkits. The role also requires staying informed of legal and regulatory developments and collaborating with international legal colleagues to support BCDC initiatives outside of the United States.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a JD or equivalent degree with excellent academic credentials and at least five years of experience practicing as an attorney in financial technology, payment systems, digital assets, or financial regulation. Understanding of the technological variants of digital asset ecosystems and frameworks is strongly preferred. The total compensation for this role includes an annual performance bonus, equity, and medical, dental, vision, and other benefits, with a national annual pay range of $99,300 to $216,040.
