Qualifications:

- Ability to self-manage projects and monitor deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with voluminous document requirements
- Working knowledge of US Copyright rules and procedures
- Working knowledge of UCC filings and procedures
- Ability to work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed
- Excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree or some college preferred
- Substantial and relevant work experience required
- Experience with film or TV production contracts desired
License and Certification:
- ABA-approved paralegal certification required
Computer/Software Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Zoom, and Teams required

Work Environment:

Join our team as a Corporate – Entertainment Paralegal II in our Century City office. In this role, you will support attorneys in the Entertainment, Technology, and Advertising practice group by handling a variety of duties and responsibilities, including filing security documents, conducting due diligence, managing closing processes, and negotiating with guilds. The successful candidate will possess technical, organizational, and administrative skills, as well as experience with copyright searches and filings, UCC forms, and financial closings. Experience with film or TV production contracts is desired.
