Job Title: Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Job Responsibilities:

- Case Management: Assist attorneys in preparing and organizing case files, maintain accurate and up-to-date case calendars and deadlines, and coordinate and schedule client meetings, court appearances, and hearings.
- Document Preparation: Assist in preparing legal briefs, pleadings, and motions.
- Client Communications: Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress, gather information from clients, and maintain regular contact to ensure case information is current and accurate.
- Court Filings and Procedures: Prepare and file legal documents with the court while adhering to relevant rules and procedures, monitor case dockets to ensure all deadlines are met, and coordinate service of process and document delivery to involved parties.
- Discovery Process: Assist in the discovery process by gathering and organizing relevant documents and information, and prepare discovery requests and responses.
- Mediation and Settlements: Assist in preparation for mediation sessions and settlement negotiations.
- Trial Support: Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and other trial-related materials, and coordinate with witnesses and experts for trial appearances.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, such as drafting correspondence, answering phones, and managing office tasks.

Education and Experience Information:

- Litigation paralegal experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of applicable statutes, regulations, and court procedures.
- Excellent research and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
- Familiarity with legal document management systems and case management software is a plus.

Salary Information:

- Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $51, to $70, per year.
