Job Title: Senior Director, Cyber and Analytics Unit

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Director in the Cyber and Analytics Unit (CAU) is responsible for leading the Cyber-Enabled Fraud (CEF) team. This position involves overseeing the planning and execution of cyber-enabled fraud investigations concerning member firms. Additionally, the role includes managing the Analytics Threat Targeting team, which is tasked with threat identification analysis and proactive targeting using data analytics. The purpose is to support the department in planning and executing complex and special investigations and examinations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of highly skilled Cyber Security Investigators, providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a team-oriented culture.
- Identifying and developing regulatory strategies around new and emerging risks and threats.
- Supervising the execution of examinations, consultations, and regulatory work related to identified risks.
- Leading and consulting on cyber security and technology-related thematic reviews and/or Cause investigations.
- Overseeing the cyber security or technology risk assessment process, such as identifying high-risk firms and monitoring trends in breaches/incidents.
- Providing subject-matter expertise to external parties on high-level regulatory issues, which could include participating in panel discussions at conferences or issuing information notices.
- Ensuring timely training, support, and intelligence is delivered to the Risk Monitoring, Examination, and other departments as needed.
- Collaborating with the Member Application Program (MAP) team to analyze new firms concerning their technology and cyber risks and controls.
- Regularly collaborating with other regulators or law enforcement agencies.
- Reviewing and approving exam-related reports and letters.
- Representing the organization at relevant industry events.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Computer Forensics, Data Analytics, or related fields are preferred. An advanced degree, relevant certification, or a law degree is a plus.
- The candidate should have significant securities, compliance, or financial regulatory experience.
- Highly advanced knowledge in analyzing, investigating, and strategically thinking about complex cyber and analytics-related issues is essential.

Knowledge Requirements:
- Substantive knowledge of risks, rules, and regulations related to cybersecurity, technology, and fraud-related risks and threats.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance issues.
- Familiarity with data analytics methods, procedures, and tools.

Working Conditions:
- The position operates in a hybrid work environment with defined in-person presence requirements.
- Extended hours and travel may be needed.

Salary Information:
The salary range varies based on location, skill set, experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons. The salary ranges are as follows:

- CA: Minimum $177,100, Maximum $361,700
- CO/HI/MN/VT: Minimum $154,100, Maximum $301,400
- IL: Minimum $169,400, Maximum $331,900
- Jersey City, NJ/NYC, NY: Minimum $185,000, Maximum $361,700
- MA/WA: Minimum $154,100, Maximum $346,700
- MD/Washington, DC: Minimum $177,100, Maximum $346,700
- NJ State: Minimum $169,400, Maximum $361,700
- NY State: Minimum $154,100, Maximum $361,700

Candidates can expect salary offers ranging from the minimum to the mid-point of the salary range. The organization provides full pay ranges so candidates can consider their growth potential.
