Salary: $8,319 - $16,305 per month

Responsibilities:
- Draft conference memoranda, calendar memoranda, and opinions for Chief Justice Patricia Guerrero
- Review and critique memoranda and proposed opinions from other justices
- Review memoranda for the court's weekly petition conference
- Assist the Chief Justice with issues related to the administration of justice in California's judicial system
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues
- Work closely with other members of the Chief Justice's staff and the court's staff
- Possibility of remote work for limited portions of each workweek
Qualifications:
- Active membership in the State Bar of California
- Minimum 2 years of post-bar legal experience
- Exceptional research, analytical, and writing skills
- Familiarity with appellate practice
- Mature and sound judgment
- Ability to work cooperatively with others and work independently
- Experience in an adjudicatory setting preferred
Salary Information:
- Level B: $8,319 - $10,572 per month
- Level C: $9,148 - $11,625 per month
- Level D: $10,532 - $14,052 per month
- Level E: $11,918 - $15,907 per month
- Level F: $13,796 - $16,305 per month
