Job Title: Doc Prep Processor - Remote Work from Home

Job Responsibilities:
A Legal Assistant at the law firm is responsible for providing a range of legal support and administrative assistance to attorneys and other legal professionals. This role is particularly focused on representing financial institutions in areas such as bankruptcy, collections, foreclosure, litigation, and residential real estate or mortgage law. Specific duties include:

- Assisting attorneys in the representation of clients in bankruptcy proceedings.
- Reviewing daily reports to ensure efficient and timely handling of files.
- Evaluating information and documents provided by clients to determine if referral is warranted.
- Organizing, analyzing, and cross-checking/validating information.
- Drafting legal documents including pleadings, motions, objections, and assignments.
- Proofreading legal forms and documents for accuracy.
- Providing support to paralegals, management, and attorneys.
- Assisting with additional projects as needed.

Education and Experience Information:
- A high school diploma is required for this position.
- Previous experience in a law firm is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in bankruptcy or mortgage servicing is preferred but not required.
- Relevant computer knowledge and experience are necessary.
- Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning, organizing, attention to detail, and accuracy skills are essential.
- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills are required.

Salary Information:
The pay type for this position is hourly.
