Attorney Duties: Prepare, review, and submit non-immigration and immigration applications to Departments of Homeland Security, State, Justice, and Labor. Draft and prepare the petition and RFE response letters and other legal documents. Conduct client intake and consultations. Manage client expectations, communicate with the client and foreign nationals regularly regarding procedural, case processing issues, and case strategy. Research immigration policies and procedures, as well as immigration statutes, case laws, and regulations. Supervise case manager, provide internal training and performance evaluations to a case manager. Review and approve all cases prepared by the case manager. Recruit, hire, and fire case manager and legal support staff if the attorney oversees a branch office. Report monthly case status to the Managing Attorney.
Qualification: Must have . or . degree with admission to any . state bar and 2 years of business immigration experience, especially EB1A and NIW, PERM filings, strong case management experience; strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to prioritize, manage, and implement multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. Must have excellent attention to detail; a strong presence in the community by attending events and participating in workshops; one-on-one biweekly conversation with a case manager and legal support staff if the attorney oversees a branch office.
