Job Title: Case Assistant II
Job Responsibilities:
The Case Assistant II in the Mergers and Acquisitions category is responsible for supporting attorneys, paralegals, and legal professionals in the organization and management of documents. Key responsibilities include:
- Serving as a liaison between clients and attorneys to complete legal assignments.
- Conducting document searches across document management systems.
- Monitoring deadlines to ensure timely completion of legal team projects and client needs.
- Performing document and information searches using automated research systems.
- Maintaining document management systems and spreadsheets.
- Organizing, editing, and analyzing large volumes of documents and data.
- Streamlining processes to enhance efficiency, speed, and agility in support services.
- Opening requests and monitoring response dates using project management applications.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a professional, fast-paced setting is required.
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Must possess strong organizational and communication skills and be a team player.
- Must have strong attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple projects, and strong time management skills.
- Experience in coordinating projects and conducting research is preferred.
- Familiarity with project or client management applications such as SmartSheet, PowerBI, and Contracts 365 is preferred.
