Job Title: Legal Administrative Specialist

Job Responsibilities:
- Utilize Task Delegation and Workflow Management software (BigHand) to manage assignments, communicate task status, and seek guidance when needed.
- Serve as the primary point of responsibility for court filings, ensuring accurate and timely submission of legal documents per state and federal court rules.
- Assist with word processing, editing, and proofreading of correspondence, memorandums, reports, and general communications.
- Support time entry, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, and arrange audio/video conferences.
- Perform document preparation tasks, including redlining, preparing signature packets, compiling exhibits and schedules, and gathering executed signatures.
- Process new business intake, related forms, and correspondence.
- Manage expense reports, invoices, check requests, and monitor them through completion.
- Arrange travel and prepare itineraries, maintaining attorney travel and desk profiles.
- Coordinate or assist with document printing, scanning, copying, and distribution.
- Provide legal research, case support, and project assistance.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous law firm experience required.
- Litigation experience required.
- Intellectual Property experience preferred.
- Proficient in legal and office software systems, including Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), PDF software, document management systems including iManage, and e-filing platforms.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organization skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of expertise, independent judgment, analytical abilities, and discretion.
- Ability to participate in orientation, guiding and training, coordination, and effective utilization of team members in association with managers.
- Demonstrated advanced legal administrative and training skills, leadership, and effective workflow coordination.
- Strategic thinking and initiative in handling assignments and projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys, clients, and court personnel both verbally and in writing.
- Flexibility to work overtime required.

Salary Information:
For positions in Los Angeles, Century City, and Orange County, CA, the salary range is $80, - $105,.

- The role requires maintaining an in-office presence three days per week unless otherwise approved by the practice group.
