Job Responsibilities:
The Summer Associate position at the law firm is designed to provide rising 2L candidates with a comprehensive experience of what it's like to work as an associate at the firm. The program is aimed at immersing summer associates in the firm's culture, allowing them to engage with various practice areas, and empowering them to embrace ownership of their burgeoning legal careers. Responsibilities include participating in legal projects, collaborating with experienced attorneys, and gaining insight into the operations of a law firm.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must be rising 2L students, which means they should currently be in their first year of law school and entering their second year (class of 2027). Applicants are required to submit a cover letter, resume, 1L transcript (unofficial is acceptable), and a brief writing sample, all in PDF format. In the cover letter, candidates should specify and explain their practice area(s) of interest.

Salary Information:
The expected pay range for the Summer Associate position is $225,000 annualized. Actual pay will be adjusted based on factors such as experience, location, and other job-related considerations permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes health insurance with an optional Health Savings Account (HSA), short-term and long-term disability insurance, dental and vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program. Additional voluntary programs may include accident insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, long-term care, critical illness and cancer insurance, and pet insurance. Commuter and transit programs may also be available in certain markets.
