Job Title: 2026 2L Finance Summer Associate
Job Responsibilities:
As a 2L Finance Summer Associate at a prominent law firm, you will be integrated into the Finance Business Unit, gaining substantial exposure and experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in substantive legal work across various assignments within the firm's diverse practices and offices.
- Shadowing attorneys to gain insights into the practice of law.
- Participating in national and local training sessions, including workshops aimed at enhancing legal writing skills and public speaking abilities.
- Taking part in unique programming and social events designed to connect with fellow Summer Associates and attorneys at the firm. Past activities have included culinary classes, sporting events, and other recreational activities.
Education and Experience Information:
Applicants must be rising 2Ls (class of 2027) pursuing a JD at an ABA-accredited law school. This opportunity is also open to 2Ls attending part-time programs or pursuing a JD/MBA degree at an ABA-accredited law school who are not graduating in 2027. The firm seeks entrepreneurial, determined students with strong academic credentials and a demonstrated interest in finance-related fields through past work experience or academic exposure.
Salary Information:
The expected gross salary for this position is $4, per week. The law firm is committed to offering a comprehensive and competitive compensation package, which may include an annual discretionary merit bonus based on both firm and individual performance.
