Paralegal - Personal Injury Litigation The candidate will serve as assistant to trial attorney in preparing cases for trial; they will aid in all trial preparation needs for the plaintiff, personal injury cases. Will work under minimal supervision. Must have knowledge/experience in propounding / responding to discovery, principles of spelling and grammar, and have the ability to meet deadlines under time constraints. Duties: Propound/respond to discovery; Monitoring statute of limitation dates for filing lawsuits and government claim deadlines; Preparing all trial documents including trial binders; Coordinating trial testimony with the attorney; Drafting and handling correspondence and e-mails; Calendar management, organizing files, and scheduling expert depositions. Will be working with clients. 1-3 years experience working in a law firm (background in Personal Injury law is highly desired). Should have experience propounding and responding to discovery. California Paralegal Certification is highly preferred.
