Job Title: Trial Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Represent tenants in habitability claims and housing-related litigation.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and motions.
- Manage a caseload and oversee all aspects of litigation, from pre-trial negotiations to courtroom advocacy.
- Argue motions, conduct depositions, and examine witnesses at trial.
- Provide legal counseling to clients and develop case strategies.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff to ensure excellent legal representation.
- Stay updated on relevant state and federal laws affecting tenants’ rights.

Education and Experience Information:
- . from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in housing law, civil rights, or public interest law.
- Strong courtroom presence and ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Passion for tenant advocacy and social justice.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently.
- Fluency in Spanish or another language commonly spoken by tenants.
- Can work remotely, must be able to drive to LA Courthouses for necessary FSC + Trials only.

Salary Information:
- Pay: $125, - $200, per year
