Job Title: Corporate Transactions Associate, US
Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate Transactions Associate will be part of the M&A and Corporate Finance practice, responsible for handling sophisticated legal tasks related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), leveraged buyouts, corporate governance, and complex commercial transactions. The associate will need to demonstrate significant attention to detail and possess the ability to interact successfully with clients, investment bankers, and other advisors. Key responsibilities include managing client engagements, coordinating with subject matter experts, and assuming a high degree of responsibility within a collegial, team-based practice. Having experience or an interest in ESOP M&A is considered advantageous.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for this position should have four to six years of experience in a sophisticated law firm setting, with a focus on M&A, leveraged buyouts, corporate governance, and complex commercial transactions. The role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and the ability to assume a high degree of responsibility.
Salary Information:
In accordance with New York pay transparency laws, the estimated compensation range for an Associate with four to six years of experience is between $225,000 and $280,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including the level of relevant experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The range is based on a full-time work schedule.
