Job Title: Tax Analyst - FSO - Fiduciary Trust Estate Advisory Services

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Analyst within the Fiduciary Trust & Estate Tax Administration Services (FTEAS) at the company, you will play a crucial role in managing the fiduciary/court accounting services for various clients including banks, law firms, family offices, and individuals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing trust tax compliance outsourcing and support services for organizations using a trust accounting system.
- Reviewing, preparing, and overseeing accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Managing client relationships to maintain satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Preparing and reviewing fiduciary accountings for trusts, estates, and guardianships.
- Reviewing trust and estate documents, such as trust instruments, wills, and IRS Form 706.
- Analyzing source data like bank statements and brokerage statements to determine proper accounting treatment.
- Participating in both internal and external training to enhance knowledge of fiduciary law and software applications.
- Regularly communicating with client liaison and client trust administration team.
- Interacting with supervisors and department co-workers, including data entry staff.
- Managing the complete process of fiduciary accounting, including monthly billing.
- Organizing and maintaining personal account workload effectively.
- Maintaining annual firm-required CPE credits.
- Engaging in business development activities to support the growth of the FTEAS business.

Education and Experience Information:
To qualify for the role of Tax Analyst at the company, candidates must have:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing fiduciary accountings.
- Knowledge of current fiduciary accounting law.
- Strong technical, verbal, and written communication skills for participation in internal and client meetings.
- Experience in managing client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong technical skills in basic computer software applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Approximately 2 years of work experience in a professional services or professional tax organization.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to adapt work style to collaborate with both internal and client team members.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills; problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

Ideally, candidates should also have:
- Experience with the Thomson Reuters FAS accounting system, though not required.
- A paralegal degree with trust and estate knowledge, and experience in an accounting firm or bank trust department is preferred.
- Experience working in a law firm is preferred but not required.

Salary Information:
The company offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. The base salary range for this job across all geographic locations in the US is $58,300 to $96,400. In the New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento), the base salary range is $70,100 to $109,400. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined based on various factors, including education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Additionally, the Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
