Job Title: Administrative Supervisor
Job Responsibilities:
The Administrative Supervisor at the law firm plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of assigned departments within the local office and coordinating firmwide initiatives. Under the direction of the Director of Business Operations, the Administrative Supervisor is responsible for:
- Providing supervision and guidance regarding workflow, resources, and priorities in assigned functions.
- Supervising direct report staff and managing projects.
- Managing the workflow, resources, and priorities in assigned functions.
- Overseeing and performing daily administrative operations and services for local departments, including Client Service Specialists, Paralegals, Office Services, Records, Facilities, and/or Reception.
- Executing the firm’s initiatives and operations at the local level, including office implementations, projects, programs, and events such as moves, maintenance, security, and resource management activities.
- Planning and executing office events.
- Participating in the hiring process for administrative staff, including the interview process.
- Participating in budget control and maintenance in assigned departments.
- Acting as an administrative liaison with internal parties and external resources and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Maintaining accurate administrative files, spreadsheets, and databases, generating reports and presentations.
- Updating processes and systems concerning office moves, staffing changes, and other office transactions, and assisting with budget control maintenance.
- Assisting in the coordination of orientation schedules of associates and staff and providing overall assistance to integrate associates and staff into the office and the firm.
- Assisting with related events/activities as needed.
- Working beyond scheduled hours as required.
- Handling additional related projects as necessary.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in a professional services or legal environment is required.
Salary Information:
The salary wage range for the Administrative Supervisor position at the law firm is expected to be between $83,200 and $106,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors. Additionally, employees have the opportunity to earn bonuses based on individual contributions and firm profitability.
