Law Firm Seeking OGC Analyst for Conflicts and Laterals Role – Salary Range $75,000 - $95,000

About the Role:

- Integral part of Latham & Watkins' Office of the General Counsel team
- Responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and acting upon conflicts reports regarding incoming lateral candidates to the firm
- Includes partners, counsel, associates, trainees, staff, and potentially portable new client business
- Located in Boston, New York, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, or Washington, .
- Eligible for flexible working schedule with hybrid and in-office presence

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

- Administer conflicts review for all lateral attorney candidates
- Obtain necessary guidance from attorneys or other Conflicts staff to properly evaluate the lateral conflicts check
- Analyze conflicts reports and communicate follow-up questions or suggest Ethics Committee action
- Prepare summary of information and report conflicts resolution to sponsoring attorneys and recruiting departments
- Work with OGC leadership to prioritize and triage work efficiently
- Protect and maintain confidential information

Qualifications:

- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various individuals
- Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines and projects

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience (3 years in a law firm or professional services firm)
- Experience with Intapp Open software preferred
