A distinguished law firm located in Mount Laurel,, NJ is seeking a litigation attorney with 2–5 years of experience to join its professional liability practice. Duties:
Assist in representing clients in professional liability cases involving civil rights, public entities, and employment-related claims
Support senior attorneys in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation
Engage in legal research and drafting of memoranda, motions, and other court filings
Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings under supervision
Collaborate closely with colleagues across the litigation team to ensure effective case strategy and execution
Participate in regular performance reviews and individualized mentorship programs
Build relationships with clients and contribute to a positive client service experience
Requirements:
2-5 years of relevant litigation experience, particularly in professional liability, civil rights, or employment law
Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research, draft complex documents, and communicate effectively in writing and orally
Willingness to work under the guidance of experienced litigators while developing independence in case management
Interest in long-term career development within a supportive and growth-oriented firm culture
Consistent and stable employment background preferred
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to practice in the state of New Jersey is required
