Job Title: Data Platforms Engineer (Remote)
Location: Remote (must reside in one of the 10 states with a physical office)
Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000 (based on location, experience, and skillset)

Job Overview:
- Assist with data platform blueprint and design
- Build and maintain data environment and data housed within platforms
- Use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems
- Strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals
- Work alongside Enterprise Applications, Web Applications/Data Analytics, Workflow Automation, and Infrastructure teams
- Remote working arrangement with reporting to Senior Data Engineering, Platforms, and Architecture Manager
Essential Functions:
- Monitor systems performance and capacity
- Ensure adequate security
- Prepare regular status reports for manager
- Write and analyze queries, object-oriented and scripting languages
- Design and implement end-to-end engineering solutions
- Build tools to scale and monitor data environment
- Install, deploy, and maintain data management tools
- Create automated procedures to ingest and process data
- Engineer and support data structures
- Engineer and maintain ELT processes
- Leverage best-in-class tools for modern data solutions
- Support development by writing stored procedures and SQL queries/views
- Research data questions and identify root causes
- Performance tune queries and stored procedures
- Identify technical obstacles and find creative solutions
- Grasp new technologies rapidly
- Work with vendors to integrate systems and data
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Work additional hours as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Data Platform experience

- Experience in legal environment or professional services (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric (preferred)
- Experience with SQL DB design and maintenance
- Experience with Transact-SQL
- Experience with programming objects, optimization and performance tools, replication, and security
- Sophisticated troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with IntApp Integration Builder and IIS(Boomi) (preferred)
- Experience with SSIS packages and RDBMS's
- Ability to model and design modern data structures, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Cloud Data Warehouse
- Experience with transactional databases
- Experience with all versions of Windows
- Experience with Power BI (on-prem and online)
- Knowledgeable in best practices from Microsoft, VMware, and storage vendors
- Knowledgeable in Azure SQL cloud offerings
- Knowledgeable in database security
- Understanding of disaster recovery terminology and design
- Experience migrating SQL servers (on-prem and to/from cloud offerings)
- Unquestioned integrity and professionalism
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with effective organizational skills
- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and web-based conference call/web-sharing applications

Compensation:
- Salary range of $100,000 - $115,000
- Actual salary based on location, experience, and skillset
