Job Title: Litigation Consulting Project Manager

Job Responsibilities:

The Litigation Consulting Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating a variety of deadline-driven projects, working closely with the law firm's Litigation Consultants. Key responsibilities include:

- Facilitating communication within the Litigation Consulting team.
- Overseeing calendaring of deadlines for upcoming research, trials, and project deadlines.
- Drafting jury research schedules and research schedule templates.
- Creating customized Research Plans for each project and communicating deadlines to client teams.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing quick responses and guiding them through every stage of the research process.
- Analyzing trial venues using public databases and creating venue analysis reports.
- Researching, contracting, and negotiating with hotels and facilities regarding costs and conditions for hosting research projects.
- Organizing and coordinating facility arrangements, including mock trial rooms and conference rooms, and addressing A/V requirements and equipment needs.
- Recruiting mock jurors and confirming jurisdictional and venue requirements.
- Coordinating with client teams to acquire and prepare materials required for projects, including exhibits, video clips, key documents, and jury forms.
- Managing catering and housekeeping needs with attorneys and relevant departments.
- Setting up initial mock juror sort templates and creating initial sorts for Litigation Consultants.
- Traveling periodically nationwide for on-site research locations and providing remote support for off-site project teams.
- Preparing budget/actuals reports post-project and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinating with Client Services for the creation of marketing materials for on-site distribution at pre-trial research projects.
- Informing and reminding client teams of project logistics, material needs, and upcoming deadlines.
- Providing recommendations for research locations and creating research schedules and budgets for proposed projects.
- Managing and supporting special business development projects, activities, and events.
- Maintaining and updating research-generated documents pre- and post-research.
- Performing additional duties and tasks assigned to support the law firm’s overall objectives.

Pre-Trial Research Projects:

- Coordinating pre-trial research projects from start to finish, including mock trials, focus groups, mock hearings, etc.
- Planning, scheduling, managing, and executing remote, on-site, and off-site mock trial, mock arbitration, and mock bench trial and focus group research.
- Introducing systems and mechanisms for best managing projects.
- Preparing drafts of written questionnaires for mock trial and focus group research for consultants to review and finalize.
- Executing initial programming and design of online surveys and monitoring the completion of electronic surveys by research participants.
- Collecting data from research participants and providing on-site mock research coordination, data analysis, data display, and support.

Mock Juror Recruiting:

- Drafting mock juror recruitment screening questionnaires.
- Enlisting and overseeing survey and market research firms for demographic/geographic surveys and juror recruitment needs.
- Managing juror recruitment throughout research projects and negotiating costs with market research companies.
- Determining jurisdictional requirements for juror eligibility and coordinating the mock juror incentive payment process.

Training and Advocacy Program:

- Assisting Litigation Consultants in the execution of attorney training.
- Locating training/advocacy program facilities and negotiating facility contracts as necessary.
- Managing all aspects of facility conference rooms, catering, and staffing for each session.
- Coordinating and overseeing Audio/Visual and Graphics arrangements for each session.
- Overseeing assembly of components for consultant’s materials for each session.

Education and Experience Information:

- A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business, organizational leadership, marketing, or social science, or equivalent work experience.
- Five or more years of related experience are required.
- Project Management experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft application suite is necessary.
- Experience in statistical analysis using common statistical packages (., SPSS) is strongly preferred, with a willingness to learn if no experience.
- Experience with project budgeting, scheduling, billing, and coordinating vendors is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and a high energy level to organize, coordinate, and deliver project management and business development initiatives.
- Discretion is required to handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical skills are essential.
- Flexibility to work occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed, with some weeks requiring additional hours to complete projects and assignments.
- Willingness to review and respond to communications after business hours to ensure a timely response.
- Willingness to travel on a periodic basis.

Salary Information:

- Colorado Salary Range: $64, to $107, annually.
- Montana Salary Range: $61, to $101,.
- Washington DC Salary Range: $70, to $117,.
- A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
