For Utah applicants only (as required by Utah state law): The annual compensation range for this position in our Salt Lake City office is between $90,000 and $130,000. Compensation is determined based on qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Research Services and Business Development teams to support attorney and client research needs
- Manage resources and services for assigned office
- Conduct legal and non-legal research and analysis, synthesize information for attorneys, clients, and staff
- Perform detailed case law research and cite checking for briefs and other documents
- Monitor legislation, litigation, and patent activity to support client interests
- Provide training on research platforms to attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Develop and promote a knowledge management culture
- Manage additional research and organizational functions as assigned
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Library and Information Studies from an ALA accredited graduate program
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role at a law firm or professional services environment
- Knowledge of research resources commonly used in large law firms
- Understanding of various areas of law practiced in a full-service firm
- Ability to learn and adapt to new skills and best practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with a desire to collaborate and foster relationships at all levels of the firm
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to respond to unexpected challenges
- Professionalism and ability to maintain composure in all situations

Compensation Information:
