Job Title: eData Systems Infrastructure Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
The eData Systems Infrastructure Engineer at the law firm is tasked with a variety of responsibilities crucial for managing and supporting the infrastructure and applications related to eData. The engineer will report to the Senior Manager of eData Operations. Key responsibilities include:

- Installing, configuring, and upgrading eData’s hosted eDiscovery and custom applications.
- Performing technical troubleshooting and optimization of eDiscovery applications and systems.
- Managing Windows, Linux, and enterprise SQL servers.
- Testing and deploying operating system and application patches.
- Performing backups and restores of databases and applications.
- Monitoring applications and servers to ensure system uptime and optimal end-user experience.
- Reporting, monitoring, and archiving project data.
- Migrating data between eDiscovery applications.
- Developing custom scripts and web applications.
- Providing level III support for client requests, incidents, and problems related to the availability of eDiscovery platforms.
- Offering after-hours support as needed to address incidents, maintain systems, support operational efforts, and implement changes that could otherwise impact business adversely.
- Collaborating with software application vendors, IT, and development teams to deploy new applications that serve eData and client needs.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the position of eData Systems Infrastructure Engineer are expected to possess:

- A Bachelor's degree (.) in Computer Science.
- A minimum of four (4) years of professional experience.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, SAML, OpenID, TCP/IP, DNS, and SQL.
- A proven and advanced understanding of infrastructure hardware, physical/virtual servers, system monitoring, layered applications, enterprise storage devices, security, and patch management concepts.
- Experience administering Kcura Relativity.
- Experience with provisioning and/or migration of enterprise application workloads to cloud computing is strongly preferred.

Salary Information:
The salary for the eData Systems Infrastructure Engineer position varies based on the location:

- For Chicago, IL, the salary range is between $93, and $150,.
- For New York, NY, the salary range is between $106, and $170,.
- For Washington, DC, the salary range is between $98, and $156,.

The base salary or hourly wage range will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside this range based on individual circumstances. Additionally, the salary or hourly wages may be part of a total compensation package that includes a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, such as 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
