- Highly competitive salary range of $175,000-$250,000, with potential for additional benefits based on experience and qualifications.
- Opportunity to lead and manage firmwide attorney professional development initiatives at a top national professional services firm.
- Collaborate with firm leadership, practice group leaders, and other attorneys to identify training and program needs and align them with firm strategy and goals.
- Source and maintain relationships with external consultants, coaches, and speakers to bring innovative and industry best practices to the firm's professional development programs.
- Utilize learning technologies, such as LMS and eLearning platforms, to enhance engagement and outcomes in training programs.
- Develop and manage budgets for professional development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, inclusivity, and retention within the firm.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required, JD highly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in professional development, with law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Certification in instructional design, coaching, and assessment preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement all attorney professional development initiatives, including training programs, mentorship opportunities, and individualized learning plans.
- Oversee CLE compliance and ensure continuous opportunities for attorneys.
- Design and deliver training programs on legal topics, professional skills, and technology.
- Partner with firm management and practice group leaders to align training programs with firm strategy and goals.
- Source and maintain relationships with external consultants and organizations.
- Stay current with industry best practices in attorney development.
- Develop metrics to evaluate training program effectiveness.
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for the professional development team.
- Collaborate with other firm departments to align professional development initiatives with broader talent management strategies.
- Manage the professional development budget and utilize learning technologies to enhance training programs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree required, JD preferred.
- 10+ years of professional development experience, with law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Certification in instructional design, coaching, and assessment preferred.
- Experience designing and delivering training programs to sophisticated, highly educated audiences.
- Knowledge of learning technologies and industry best practices in attorney development.
- Ability to align professional development initiatives with firmwide strategic objectives.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
- Ability to travel as needed.
