Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative functions in support of consultants within the Healthcare practice at the law firm. Key responsibilities include:
- Extensive calendar management and scheduling of meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, and events.
- Overseeing entry and coding of time.
- Reconciling monthly billing statements and tracking them to the budget.
- Preparing and formatting documents in Word.
- Managing and tracking expense reimbursements.
- Providing back-up support to other administrative assistants as needed.
- Handling ad hoc projects and duties as required.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Administrative Assistant position should meet the following qualifications:
- 1-3 years of previous experience supporting multiple professionals, with the ability to keep team members on track with processes, policies, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A BA Degree is highly preferred.
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize activities and work under pressure to meet client deadline expectations.
- Strong writing and research skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills are required. The candidate must be able to assist the professional staff in conceptualizing ways to graphically display project and legal findings in MS PowerPoint. Experience with legal billing software is a plus.
- Interest in the Healthcare field is highly preferred.
