Job Title: Education and Training Intern

Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with training logistics, including managing attendance during trainings, preparing certificates, handling registration, and collecting and analyzing survey feedback.
- Provide marketing and outreach support for public programs to enhance awareness and participation.
- Perform various data management tasks, including data input and analysis, to support training and education initiatives.
- Contribute to research and content development for training sessions and educational resources.
- Support the translation of data results into written reports or other tools to effectively convey information.
- Assist the Director of Education and Training with ongoing needs within the department.
- Undertake any other day-to-day administrative tasks that may arise within the department.

Education and Experience Information:
- The position is open to Undergraduate or Graduate Students with coursework or background in curriculum and instruction, education administration, public administration, school counseling, school social work, or related fields. While preference is given to Graduate Students, all qualified students are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants should have completed at least the equivalent of four semesters of college coursework by the time they begin the internship.
- Prior office experience is considered a plus.
- Applicants must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with compiling and organizing data metrics is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
- A working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and database management is necessary.

Salary Information:
- This is an unpaid internship position.

Additional Information:
- The internship is set to last a minimum of eight weeks, starting on or around September 16, 2025, in alignment with established fall internship orientations.
- The internship offers an opportunity to support a growing state-wide civil rights agency and gain experience in education and training.
- The intern will report directly to the Director of Education and Training and may work with various units within the organization.
- The position will primarily involve remote work, with occasional opportunities to travel to one of the organization's offices in the state.
- Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, a brief writing sample of no more than 5 pages, and an unofficial school transcript by June 13, 2025.
- Applicants should indicate in their cover letter whether they plan to receive course credit for the internship.
- A Confidential Background Investigation Clearance Form must be completed if an offer for a position in the internship program is accepted.
