Tax Partner, National Leader High Net Worth
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Responsible for strategy and growth of the company's services to High Net Worth clients, including identifying market trends, anticipating opportunities, and developing go-to-market strategies/plans.
- Build strong relationships and interact regularly with clients, internal client partners and up-and-coming talent, external industry groups, Centers of Influence, industry Market Leaders in adjacent sectors, and Service Line Leaders. This involves coordinating to align skills with market trends and drive strategic technical leadership hires.
- Establish sales and revenue goals, and actively manage a strategic business plan and opportunity pipeline to ensure these goals are met.
Client Experience:
- Serve and build relationships with clients, monitoring client service and value proposition, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure the company is a premium provider delivering quality work, open communication, sound advice, and proactive service.
- Develop a comprehensive approach to meet the needs of High Net Worth clients, including leadership around High Net Worth infrastructure with a focus on scaling the practice and demonstrating intellectual curiosity to ensure client needs are met.
- Continuously assess each client’s needs as their goals and objectives evolve, adapting client service and strategies accordingly.
Leadership, Mentorship & Staff Development:
- Respect and celebrate the value of the stories, backgrounds, perspectives, and ideas of team members, building meaningful relationships with all those interacted with.
- Be growth-oriented and work toward building a leveraged model, when appropriate.
- Provide mentoring and motivation to the team, including developing young leaders via active contribution to training and development.
- Exhibit forward thinking, innovation, and deliver an exceptional work product.
Technical:
- Perform partner-level compliance review and tax return supervision.
- Serve as a professional role model, in the role of tax advisor to many of the company’s most valued clients.
- Serve as a go-to resource for technical questions or knowledge.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s degree; CPA or JD required.
- 12+ years of progressive experience within tax, preferably in a public accounting firm, including leadership experience with a consistent record of accomplishment, accountability, and history of execution against budget and strategic initiatives.
- 3+ years Partner level or equivalent experience.
- In-depth knowledge and a concentration in High Net Worth Tax.
