Introduction to the M&A Team:
Moss Adams' Mergers and Acquisitions practice works with owners and investors to ease their tax burden and quantify tax exposures in a variety of transactions. This includes buy-side and sell-side deals, restructuring, taxable and tax-free transactions. The team provides tax due diligence, structuring, modeling services, transaction agreement review, and tax technical support.

Responsibilities of M&A Tax Senior Manager:
- Manage client engagements, including working directly with c-suite executives
- Work with private equity firms, strategic clients, and investment banks
- Source and manage client relationships
- Analyze and execute client deliverables
- Coach and manage other team members
- Coordinate with other practice areas of the firm
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Participate in networking and business development activities
- Provide leadership and supervision to team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
- Master's degree in Taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience
- Previous experience in public accounting or law firm preferred
- CPA required, or must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire
- Previous experience in M&A tax consulting and due diligence preferred
- Proven experience leading M&A tax engagement teams at a large national professional services firm preferred
- Strong market facing skills for business development and client relationships
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory and training experience
- Proven experience managing multiple client engagements
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, presentation, and marketing skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% for client engagements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay Range Disclosure:
While the typical pay range for this position is listed, actual pay may vary based on factors such as internal equity, knowledge, experience, skillset, and geographic location. It is uncommon for individuals to be hired at the top end of the pay range. This position may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
Compensation Range:
- Washington State: $203,000 - $308,000
- California State: $217,000 - $352,000
- Colorado State: $203,000 - $294,000
- New York State: $203,000 - $323,000
- Remote: $203,000 - $294,000
