Job Title: Regulatory Compliance & Ethics Program Administrator IV

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, oversight, and monitoring of the company's Compliance & Ethics Program.
- Act as an advocate for the company with external stakeholders to support corporate goals.
- Collaborate with Legislative Affairs and Legal teams to guide internal teams on new and changing laws and regulations.
- Assess, analyze, and track regulatory agency activities, advising the business on implications and serving as a subject matter expert on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Formulate strategies to lobby for the company’s interests with regulators, government entities, private entities, and interest groups.
- Assist in implementing new and changing laws and regulations.
- Conduct compliance monitoring reviews to verify adherence to policies and applicable regulations.
- Manage inquiries and exams from state and federal regulators, developing and maintaining relationships with these entities.
- Act as an internal consultant to identify key regulatory and compliance issues, recommending realistic solutions based on research.
- Prepare written reports to document findings and issue Corrective Action Plans, tracking them through to resolution.
- Interact effectively with all levels of management, adapting communication style as needed to ensure comprehension.
- Lead the company's Advocacy Committee, distributing and collecting comments, and drafting consolidated responses to regulatory agencies.
- Support the Compliance & Ethics Committee to ensure completion of compliance and ethics initiatives.
- Serve as a regulatory and compliance expert, building relationships across the company to ensure visibility of compliance impacts and issues.
- Develop ongoing education, tools, and resources for management and employees to promote self-service research and a culture of ethical behavior and compliance.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements based on trends, issues, and obstacles, continuously improving Regulatory Compliance & Ethics processes using LEAN methodologies.
- Take ownership of compliance-related tasks such as OFAC/Sanction Checks, hotline investigations, regulatory reporting, policy maintenance, and more.
- Mentor other Regulatory Compliance & Ethics personnel.
- Anticipate the impact of the changing business environment and adjust processes as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree or four years of work experience (required).
- Six years of experience in regulatory, compliance, legal, public policy, or internal audit space or post-graduate education in a related field (required).
- Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional designation within one year of hire (required).
- Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) (preferred).
- Juris Doctorate (JD) (preferred).
- Prior healthcare or insurance background (preferred).
- Advanced degree in a related field (preferred).
- Experience advocating directly with regulatory agencies at the state/federal level (preferred).
- Effective interpersonal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to research and communicate complex information to all levels of employees.
- Knowledge of Washington, Alaska, and federal health plan laws, including the Affordable Care Act.
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to represent the company’s interests and monitor regulatory environments.
- Exceptional analytical skills and ability to act as a consultant to the business.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple complex assignments while ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Salary Information:
- The salary range for this role is $99, - $168,, varying based on factors such as geographic location, market conditions, and skills and experience.
- National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
- Compensation discussions will be part of the interview process.

- The work environment is a normal office setting with ambient temperature.
- The role requires the ability to exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and the ability to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
