Job Title: Subrogation Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary contact for insurance company representatives, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Manage the intake process for new cases, which includes running and clearing conflicts, sending acknowledgments to clients, and assigning cases to the appropriate attorneys.
- Assist attorneys by identifying interested parties through web searches and public databases, ensuring that all relevant parties are considered in the case management process.
- Prepare correspondence for attorneys, contributing to the effective management of cases.
- Collaborate with the billing department to process invoices for expenses, review monthly invoices sent to clients for expense reimbursement and attorneys' fees, and manage the processing of clients' settlement funds.
- Maintain various case management databases, ensuring that all data is up-to-date and accurate.
- Prepare and maintain case management spreadsheets using Excel, facilitating the organization and analysis of case data.
- Review clients' property insurance claim files and prepare spreadsheets that itemize indemnity payments and identify documents supporting those payments, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in documentation.
Education and Experience Information:
- Required: A minimum of 3 years of experience with insurance claims, which may be gained at a law firm, an insurance company, or a claim adjustment company.
- Preferred: Candidates with property subrogation experience will be given strong preference.
- Additional Preference: Experience with property insurance claims and familiarity with the typical categories of coverage in a property insurance policy will be advantageous.
